MANILA, Philippines — Light-Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) resumed full operations on Wednesday afternoon following an electrical fault, said its operator.
According to the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC), its engineering team successfully completed all necessary repairs and assessments on LRT-1 at exactly 5:38 p.m.

This means trains are now running from LRT-1’s end-to-end stations: Fernando Poe Jr. Station to Dr. Santos Station or vice versa.
“Our dedicated Engineering and Maintenance Team at LRMC worked diligently to ensure the safety and efficiency of our services,” said the LRMC in an advisory.
The LRMC then thanked the public for their patience during the repairs.
It was around 8:54 a.m. on Wednesday when LRT-1 was placed under limited operations due to an electrical fault.
During the whole repair, the LRT-1 only operated from Gil Puyat Station to Fernando Poe Jr. Station and vice versa.
